ASDA has dropped the price of fuel by up to 3p per litre.
The price drop will come as a relief to motorists who have been feeling the pinch since the end of March, where the rising cost of oil saw the price at the pump go up by up to 10p per litre.
Drivers who fill up with petrol will save up to 3p a litre, while the supermarket has shaved 2p a litre off diesel.
The supermarket is passing the savings on to motorists, as the price of oil has fallen back to $76 a barrel.
